About the Founder/CEO
 

Born and raised in Port de Paix, Haiti Jean Yvon Pierre did his primary and secondary education respectively at the Jules Marie Bonenfant School and the Notre Dame de Lourdes College of his city. After high school, he went to Port-au-Prince for his university studies. Winner of the entrance exam to the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Natural Sciences / Chemistry Section, he spent only a few months there before choosing the Faculty of Agronomy where he obtained a degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Animal Production and Health. ​

Jean Yvon Pierre has many years of experience in the management of development projects. He has worked in turn for: ​ 
The German Cooperation in Haiti (AAA) as project coordinator 
World Vision (Haiti) as Project Coordinator in the North West and South 
The Ministry of Agriculture as Head of Department 
The Ministry of Finance through an IDB-Haiti project as an external environmental consultant. 
The U.S. Embassy through USAID as an external consultant in watershed management 
The Methodist Church of Haiti (Cayes) as a consultant for a livestock training project. 
The Health Protection Unit of the MARNDR as Supervisor of the National Classical Swine Fever Vaccination Campaign. 
Founding Director of the Jean Vonvon Medical Clinics. ​  

     

For more than a decade, Dr. Pierre has divided his time between the United States of America and Haiti. In 2018, he opened a modern Natural Medicine Clinic in Lalue Port-au-Prince in collaboration with the Eminent Doctor PATRICK JACQUES. Shaken up by political instability and incessant street demonstrations and especially the expansion of gangs in the vicinity of Duval Croix des Bouquets where he had lived since the earthquake of 2010, he had to move to Port de Paix, his hometown. There, he inaugurated Port de Paix, Haiti. which in a short period of time expanded rapidly and became a reference in the field of complementary and alternative medicine in the northwest of Haiti  

 

Dr. Jean Yvon Pierre is the Executive Director of the Haitian American Initiative for a Better Life, a nongovernmental organization dedicated to the improvement of living conditions of underserved families by empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency in the United States. Haitian American for a Better Life (HAIBEL), is registered with the Florida State Department of State and holds a 501(c)3 exemption status.  ​

 

Jean Vonvon Financial and Agricultural Consultants, INC is a consulting firm founded by Jean Yvon Pierre and specialized in the management and development of agricultural and educational projects. environmental and financial issues.  

 

Dr. Pierre's favorite hobbies are mainly reading, teaching and music.

Originaire de Port-de-Paix, Jean Yvon Pierre a fait ses études primaires et secondaires respectivement à l’Ecole Jules Marie Bonenfant et au collège Notre dame de Lourdes (CNDL) de Port-de-Paix. Apres le BACC II (Philo),   il se rendit a Port-au-Prince pour ses études universitaires. Lauréat du concours d’admission à l’Ecole Normale Supérieure, Section Sciences naturelles / Chimie, il y passa seulement quelques mois avant de porter son choix sur la Faculté d’Agronomie où il décrocha un diplôme d’Ingénieur Agronome avec une spécialisation en Production et Santé Animales.

​ Dr Pierre détient des certificats et diplômes de nombreux pays étrangers, notamment les Etats-Unis, le Mexique, Porto Rico, Saint Domingue, Inde, Chine, Saint Kitts et Nevis (W.l.). Citons, entre autres :

• Une maitrise en Gestion des Affaires (MBA) 

• Une Spécialisation den gestion des Hôpitaux et des Soins de Santé

       Jean Yvon traine derrière lui de nombreuses années d’expériences dans la gestion des Projets de développement. Il a travaillé tour à tour pour :

• La Coopération Allemande en Haïti (AAA) comme coordonnateur de projet

• La Vision Mondiale (Haïti) comme Coordonnateur de Projet dans le Nord Ouest et le Sud

• Le ministère de l’Agriculture comme Chef de Service

• Le ministère des Finances a travers un projet de la BID-HAITI comme consultant externe environnemental.

• L’Ambassade Américaine à travers l’USAID comme consultant externe dans la gestion des bassins versants

• L’Eglise Méthodiste d’Haïti (Cayes) comme Consultant d’un projet de formation en Elevage.

• L’Unité de Protection Sanitaire du MARNDR comme Superviseur de la Campagne Nationale de Vaccination anti-Peste Porcine Classique.

• Directeur Fondateur des Cliniques Médicales Jeanvonvon.

       Deux (2) ans après sa graduation en Médecine Chinoise aux Etats Unis,  soit 2018, Jeanvonvon ouvrit une Clinique moderne de Médecine Naturelle a Lalue Port au Prince en collaboration avec l'Eminent Docteur PATRICK JACQUES. Bousculé par les incessantes manifestations de rue de Port au Prince et surtout l'expansion des gangs aux environs de Duval, Croix des Bouquets où il habitait depuis 2010,.

 

Dr. Jeanvonvon dut déménager en 2020 pour s'établir à Port de Paix, sa ville natale. Là, il inaugura la CLINIQUE DE MEDECINE INTEGRATIVE JEANVONVON le 21 février 2021 à la rue de l'Hôpital / Amiral Killick qui, en un laps de temps, connut une expansion rapide et devint une référence dans le domaine de la Médecine complémentaire et alternative dans le Nord-Ouest d'Haïti.  
 
      Jean Yvon Pierre est le Directeur Exécutif de Haitian American Initiative for a Better Life, une organisation non gouvernementale dédiée à l’intégration en douceur des nouveaux immigrants et au soutien des familles défavorisées aux États-Unis. Haitian American for a Better Life (HAIBEL), est enregistrée au niveau du département de l'Etat de la Floride et détient un statut fédéral d'exemption [501(c)3]. 

Les passe-temps favoris de Dr. Pierre sont essentiellement la lecture, l’enseignement et la musique.
